Shriners

The Shriners are a brotherhood of men committed to fun and fellowship, yet they serve a serious purpose. They are known for their zest for life and dedication to charitable work. They partake in parades, trips, dances, dinners, sporting events, and other social activities. They are supporters of what is often referred to as the "World's Greatest Philanthropy," the Shriners Hospitals for Children. This network comprises 22 pediatric specialty hospitals, which are operated and maintained by the Shriners. Children up to the age of 18 may be eligible for care at Shriners Hospitals if, in the judgment of the hospital's chief of staff, they can benefit from the specialized services provided. Eligibility is not contingent upon financial necessity or affiliation with a Shriner.
